Hierodeacon Miller Obituary
Rev. Hierodeacon Boris (Harry J.) Miller. Devoted son of the late Robert and the late Dorothy Miller, and the late Stella Chruscicki. Brother in Christ of Rev. Father John (Richard) Merrick. Dear brother of Susan Fowler and Edward Onopa. Numerous nieces and nephews. Fond nephew of Edward and Joyce Creske and Frank and Helen Chruscicki. Father Boris considered St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church his Spiritual Home. Visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, Lansing, IL with Pomen Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the church starting with Divine Memorial Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. followed by Monastic Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Very Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin officiating. Interment at St. Sava Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Father Boris Funeral Fund is preferred. Arrangements by Kompare Funeral Home 773-768-8800.
