Hilma Adams "Nana", age 90, of Crown Point, IN, passed away at Franciscan Health Crown Point on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Hilma is survived by her children: Karlene (Dave) Cantrall-Oram, Tammy (Bob) McLean, and Thomas (Aimee) Adams; 6 grandchildren; Kaity Sandu, Sam and Alex McLean, Casie Hesla, Taylor Wigstrom and Elizabeth Adams; great-grandchildren; Tatum Adams-Enquist, Beau Hesla, Tessa Wigstrom, Teagen Wigstrom, and Khloe Hesla.
Hilma was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Adams; and parents, Carl and Rose Bryant.
Hilma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was also a longtime member of Youche Country Club and the YMCA.
Hilma worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Merrillville School Corporation for 26 years, and was active in the Calumet High School Classes of 1954-1956 Lunch Club. She enjoyed line dancing, gardening, vacationing and spending time with family.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
Funeral prayers will begin at the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 9:15 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet Street, Crown Point with Fr. Peter Muha officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Hilma's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
