Isaac Cesar Barrera, age 30, late of Cedar Lake& formerly of Whiting, IN passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from complications of cancer. Beloved son of Julio and Maria (nee Gonzalez) Barrera. Loving brother of Claudia (Sergio) Sanchez, Jovette (Victor) Moore, Julio M. (Meaghan Boers) Barrera and Alyssa (Ryan) Meehan. Cherished uncle of Christian, Noah and Jacob Sanchez, Lucas, Samantha and Jacob Moore and Gabriel and Julia Meehan. U. S. Air Force Veteran. Visitation Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:30 a.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 west 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U.S. 41 / Wicker Ave. at 97th Street) St. John, IN to St. John the Evangelist Church Day Chapel (Corner of 93rd Ave. & U. S. 41 / Wicker Ave.) St. John, IN. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Cemetery private. Isaac you will truly be missed! My family and me loved you like you were born into our family. I will never forget how good you were with my kids and being a best friend to my sister. We always loved your company. We will miss you till we see you again in HEAVEN!!! Love always from the Makowski/Moore Family.
