James Maves Obituary
Born in Menomonie Wisconsin to Lenard H. and Elinor H. Maves.
He grew up in Cedar Falls Wisconsin before moving with family to Gary Indiana where he graduated from Gary Edison High School. He attended the Gary Methodist Hospital School of Nursing ,where he met Jannifer Hubble, and later completed training at the Mayo Clinic School of Nurse Anesthesia.
Jim began his medical career at the Marshfield Clinic in 1964. A Vietnam vet serving with the 13th Evacuation Hospital, 25th Infantry Division also with Wisconsin & New Mexico National Guard.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jannifer, sons Michael, Robert, and Douglas, seven grandchildren, and his sister Jackie Fenchak.
He will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, deep faith, and the joy he found in God's creation.

My deepest condolences to Jan, Jackie and their family. I worked for many years with Jim´s Mom... we called her Mickey.. in the Nursery at Methodist. I was close to them. She always kept me posted concerning their lives in Wisconsin. I pray for you all.

I was a senior in high school and James was a sophomore at Gary Edison. He always had a smile, was very friendly and was very professional. Sorry he passed away. He had a great life from what I read, and I admire his service to the nation by serving as an Army medical technician. Rest in peace, James, you deserve it. I remember Jim from many years ago when he and was working as an anesthetist with Bob Sweeney. I used to babysit for all the kids.
