The last time I really spent any time with Jimmy was when he was at Senn high school. Even then he was a bit of a character, but he was always a character with character. You could tell his personality was going to be even more appreciated as an adult. Having met his mother he seemed to have a similar enthusiasm for life that she did and you could tell how proud she was of her son. The world was lucky to have him for as many years as we did. My sincere condolences, Tevya Shemen

Jim was a musical icon throughout the area. We re-connected only recently, and I'm so glad we did. I will miss him. Sandi Sherman

Jim was patient and kind and enormously talented. He taught both my kids for their bat/bar mitzvahs and they thought the world of him. He loved music--and musical jokes of all kinds-- and loved sharing it with others. His memory will be a blessing.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful man, kind, funny and very talented. He was very encouraging always. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
