Ruth and I are most grateful for all the times Jan and Walt gave loving care to our family as we visited in their home. On our honeymoon in 1961, we visited them in Albany, NY. Jan was busy washing cloth diapers and hanging them up to dry on the clothes line. Her boys had the cleanest and best smelling diapers in the city. Her love for her husband and children was so genuine and we are happy when we remember her.

Jan started a Bridge Group at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. She patiently taught us how to play Bridge. We enjoyed not only learning the game, but the friendships we made. Jan was a wonderful and caring person. Now she and Walt are smiling down on her family. My deepest sympathy to her family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
