Jean M. Hurst

JEAN M. HURST VALPARAISO, IN Jean M. Hurst, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso, IN. Born on March 6, 1925 in Petersburg, IL to the late Raymond and Alma Kneer. She was a resident of Valparaiso since 1970, homemaker, member of the Valpo Methodist Church, Valparaiso Women's Club, String-A-Long Quilt Guild, League of Women Voters of Porter County, and graduate of Illinois Weselyn University. Jean is survived by daughters: Catherine (Steven) Plump of Indianapolis, IN, Patricia Macaluso of Richmond, VA and Bonnie Hurst of Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren: Jonathan, Ryan, and Christopher Plump, Michael and Daniel Macaluso, and Ian Kosky. Preceded in death by husband, John W. Hurst. A private graveside service will be held with Rev. Dennis Deeter officiating.
