JESSE LOZANO HAMMOND, IN Jesse Lozano, age 88, of Hammond, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013. Beloved husband of Consuelo Lozano (nee Baldiviez); loving father of Jesus (Dolly) Lozano, Oralia Lozano, Martha (Margarito) Lopez, Juanita (Alan) Gerrard, Frances Toyne, and David Gerrardo (Kim) Lozano; proud grandfather of 21; dearest great grandfather of 20; devoted great-great grandfather of two. Preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Francisca Lozano (nee Lara); brothers and sisters; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Jesse retired after 35 years at Inland Steel and was a member of the East Chicago Masonic Lodge 595 F & AM. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who loved his family. Jesse will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the OWENS-RUZICH FUNERAL HOME, 816 - 119th St., corner of (Rt. 41) Calumet Ave. at 119th St., Whiting, IN. Interment private. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 2:00 PM until time of service at 5:00 PM at OWENS-RUZICH FUNERAL HOME.
