JoEllyn Avedisian Obituary
December 23, 1950 - January 2, 2024
JoEllyn (Hershberger -Tilka) Avedisian, formerly of Munster, IN, 73, passed away on January 2, 2024, finding eternal peace in heaven. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse in NW Indiana and Chicago for over 45 years, known for her compassion, and clinical excellence. JoEllyn is survived by her daughter Lisa Tilka-Brown, son-in-law Darrell, sisters (Carla Burnell, Lori Meyers), grandchildren and extended family. She was a loving mother, sister , aunt and grandparent. She lived a full life, embracing her role as a caregiver and cherishing moments with family, friends and her beloved dogs. In lieu of flowers, contributions to local animal rescue shelters in her name are appreciated.
