John E. Plesha passed away on March 31, 2017 at age 90. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Lalich); and the late Lucy (nee Dosen). Loving father of Karen Chartier, Marty Plesha, and Carol (Bruce) Niepokoj. Grandfather of Brian (Noelle) Chartier, Carol Chartier, Kevin (Jennifer) Chartier, Joey Niepokoj, great grandfather of Juliana, Santiago, and Nathaniel. Dearest son of late Frank and late Anna Plesha. Dearest brother of Frank (late Jean) Plesha, Rose (Mike) Nastav, Ann (Jerome) Carnavacciolo, Nick (Randy) Plesha, late Joseph Plesha, late Mike (late Lori) Plesha, late George (late Florence) Plesha. Dear son-in-law of late Yekie and late Bikan Lalich. Dear brother-in- law of late Sophia (late Joe) Rubrecht, late Mary (late Bob) Dietrich, late Michael Lalich Jr. Dear uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. John was a Veteran of U.S. Army - Air Force, Retired Employee of General Mills, Inc. Visitation Monday April 3, 2017 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Services Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave, Chicago with The Very Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Please Omit Flowers.
