To Butch in Heaven:
Man primo Butch I don't even know where to start...so so many memories. It's strange the way lifes direction takes you because when we were young kids I so looked up to you. You taught me a lot. You were very talented in a lot of ways!! We played lots of sports but being younger I looked up to you as a great athlete! But some of the most impressing times was when you would take me through alleys searching for old TVs and radios that people would throw away and you would take them home and fix them. I was always impressed with your talent! You could of had your own TV/Radio repair shop. Then as we got older you would tell me how proud you were of me...that would touch me because I always looked up to you. Then came the 90's...The 90's were really some of our best times! We really got close and had some really great times together. We partied a lot for years but really bonded as brothers. But As time went on we kinda went our separate ways...kinda when I moved away, but we still always kept in touch with each other. It really hurts how we had lost touch in these last ten years or so and now that you are gone, this will really puts a dent in my heart! You will always be unique and special to me Butch! I will never forget you and so looking forward to meeting again one day!! I Love you Butch!! RIP now you suffered enough!!

I'm very saddened to hear about the passing of my cousin Butch. Growing up I always looked up to him like the big brother I never had. I can remember as far back as being 5 years old waiting after school for him to get out. We'd then walk together to his home to, what I always considered my second family, the Castro's. My dad and his mother, who I always referred to as Aunt "T,T" were very close. Butch and I spent many many days and summers hanging out. We'd pretty much go everywhere together. I always appreciated that he never felt I was a nuisance or a burden to him. We always enjoyed each other's company, laughed about stupid stuff a lot, played wiffle ball with the neighbors, Strike-Out, Basketball etc. and watched a lot of late night movies. We used to run errands for my dear grandma too. There's so many more things we'd do I can't take the time to share them all.
Of course as time goes on, as in most things in life, we grew to have our own families and our own lives and lost touch but Butch would always remain a special part of my life. And it was always good to see him and catch up on things, I'm just sorry I can't see him and give him a hug for so many of the good times we shared. We were like brothers and I will miss him.
