Josephine Bibzak Obituary

Josephine B. Bibzak (Kaliszeski) Hammond Josephine B. Bibzak (Kaliszeski), age 96, of Hammond passed away peacefully in her home October 8, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank T. Bibzak, brothers, Vincent, Frank, and Joseph Kaliszewski, sisters, Julia Kowaleski, Carol Rudzinski, step-son Eugene Bibzak. Survived by step-daughter Lorraine P. Kowal of East Chicago; step daughter-in-law Verna Bibzak of Hammond, brother-in-law Ben Rudzinski of Port Richey, FL; grandchildren Thomas (Jane) Kowal of Hammond, Joseph (Laura) Kowal of Howell, MI, Carl (Michelle) Kowal of Justice, IL, Raymond (Joyce) Bibzak of Mokena, IL, Linda (Mark) Koloziej of Hammond; great-grandchildren Geoffrey and Nicole Kowal of East Chicago, Joseph Jr. and Christopher Kowal of Hammond, Steven, Jordan and Kaitlyn Wales of Howell, MI, Justin Koloziej of Denver, CO, Kevin Koloziej of Hammond, Christopher Bibzak of Pittsburgh, PA, Sara Bibzak of Mokena, IL and many cousins. Mrs. Bibzak was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (Hammond) and a member of the Rosary Society. Mrs. Bibzak earned a Masters Degree in Education from Northwestern University. During her career she held several teaching positions in Illinois and Indiana. Mrs. Bibzak loved to travel and was an avid book reader. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Funeral services are private.
