I want to Thank all of you who have taken the time out to send us condolences and loving sympathies on the passing of our oldest son Keith Boros. He was a kind, caring, giving, son, brother, and husband and father. Too young to leave. He graduated from Lake Central with over a 4.0 and took the Nuclear exam to get into the Nuclear program in the UNITED STATES NAVY. He was the only one in 10 years to get every question right. He served 6 years, on the USS HONOLULU and went on 2 West Pacs (around the world twice). He dove off the submarine and swam in the ocean, seen so many places. When he got out in 2004 he went to work for American Electric Power, a nuclear plant right by the Warren Dunes in Michigan. He bought a home in Michigan City, we were so excited for him.He had a cute ranch, big yard. He met & married Vicky Boros and son Christopher, Aug. 2010, and bought a house in Crown Point, and had a baby girl Aug.4 2011. Thanksgiving week of 2014, he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, bone cancer. It was in his hips, spine, last week diagnosed with Leukemia. I know in my heart he was greeted by many. The signs were every where. He has joined his Grandma Boros(Rena Boros), Julius Boros(grandpa)murdered 2012; Steve Zelenika(grandpa),his Uncle Brad Boros; his cousin Samantha Sansone Jacobs(24 yrs), a second cousin Nick Anoe(27) and many more .
So many loved ones have left us. But Keith, he was shy, laid back, and never a big talker. He was always the first to watch out for his cousins when they were babies, he loved babies. And he loved when we had parties when he was young. Keith had a special relationship with each one of his siblings, Melissa, Brian, Greg and Sarah will always hold their own certain memories in their hearts now forever. One we will all remember is when we would all be in bed, and Sarah would jump out of bed, go to the stairs and yell for Keith. "Keitttttttthhhhhh, willl you go get baby that I bite?" She would sometimes wake the whole house up but Keith would know exactly where it was, go get it, and bring it to her on the steps and she would return to bed comforted once again by her big brother. Or Monday, which it already is, is going to be one of the hardest things we will ever have to do in our life. You never expect to bury a child. So it is with gratitude that you all have expressed that I got through each day since Friday morning news. Please continue to pray for our family as it will be a very hard and trying next couple of days. Brian Boros Sr.Melissa Palazzolo, Brian Boros, Greg Boros, and Sarah Boros
