oh man. i stopped by after seeing someone who reminded me of her. we hadn't communicated since last summer. i met her on the train between indiana and chicago, and we were totally train bffs :) i've since moved to seattle, but try to say hi now and again to this girl who welcomed me into her life, cared to listen to me, and even baked me cookies once. :) i am so so sorry to those who are close to her; i know that if her smile, conversations, that giggle, that *laugh*, affected me, then those near her have to be orders of magnitude affected by her loss. my sincerest condolences goes to her close family and friends.

Kelle,
From the day of your accident, I have not been able to understand why you were taken so soon from us! I remember talking to you about so many things and it was always so much fun to see when we would get together.
You opened my eyes to so many things. You always gave the greatest advice. You were so sweet, loving, patient and a blast to be around. I can still hear your laugh!
I am so glad I was able to see you in September and spend some time with you. I am glad that I was able to ask you to be my maid of honor of my wedding. God has you in his arms right now and I am at peace knowing that you are happy in heaven with no pains, no suffering, no confusion and finally resting in peace.
You are so special to me, You will forever be in my heart. You will never be forgotten. No-one will ever be able to take your place in life. You brought joy to so many people and I am one of them.
Thank you for all you have done. I love you Kelle!

It was sad and a shock to hear the news last week. I will remember you as the witty and sweet girl I met at Arthur Anderson 10 years ago. I will also remember a trip to Navy Pier for work function where we rode the ferris wheel. I will also never forget how you used to call me "chula" because you learned the spanish word. You were just too funny. You left us too soon Kelle. It's a shame the last time we chatted was 2 years ago. I'm sorry for your loss, Ill family as well as friends. From reading some of these entries, I can tell Kelle never changed being a beautiful person, in and out. Rest in Peace sweety. We will meet again one day and ride the ferris wheel.

I am truly saddened by tragic loss of my friend Kelle, who definitely was ONE OF A KIND. Kelle's Smile and beautiful face would light up any room.
She was my friend thru Larcher Chiropractic but our friendship grew much stronger outside and after that!
Kelle brought so much joy to many lives and her life was taken much too soon. She had her mind set, things to do, and she was doing them.... She had set out to accomplish so much.
NOW SHE IS A ANGEL WATCHING OVER ALL OF US!
Kelle-I love you and I will miss you. I pray for Chris and your family as they get through this difficult time.

Penny, Ray, and Chris. Although many years have passed since our "kids" were at St. Jude, I will always remember Kelle in grammar school -just as she is described by her family/friends as an adult. Always smiling, friendly, and witty, just a well-rounded, happy, wonderful girl. I am deeply saddened at your loss, and will hope and pray you are comforted by the happy memories of your lovely daughter. God bless

My deepest symapathys to Penny,Ray and Chris. Kelle was such a wonderful woman, always smiling and always willing to help out others. I was so shocked to hear the about your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. When I told my children they were so sad, Zach and Rachel have fond memories of Kelle and how kind she was to them. We sat and talked about Kelle and they wanted me to tell all of you how sorry they are for your loss. Rachel remembers Kelle's smile and her trying to teach her how to float on her back in your pool. I watched Kelle grow into a beautiful woman and person, she has touched many lives and will forever be in our hearts and our memories.

I will never forget that Horrible Wednesday! In Reed Hall of Science at ONU, I was stopped by a always smiling, cheerful Prof P who had a look on her face I had never seen. She said, "Do you have a minute, can I talk to you?" I got a very uneasy feeling! when she said lets go into Prof Love's office my heart fell to my toes! I walked in and saw the tears in Prof Love's eyes, and when Prof P said, "please sit," a feeling of utter and complete terror can over me. I looked at both of them and it gets blurry from there.
I can still see the look of heartfelt sadness in Prof P's eyes when she looked at me and said, trying to be strong, Kelle was killed in a HORRIBLE car accident this morning!
All I remember thinking was no it HAS to be a mistake!! and I remember saying, "are you sure?" And both assured me that they checked and double checked and they were sure. Immediately I thought, my Lord this is not fair!! Kelle was way too young, beautiful, smart, funny, giving, with so much life, and most of all an absolutely wonderful mom and dad, and God what could I possible do for them, say to them, theres nothing anyone can do to reverse time, what I would have given to be able to do that!!
Kelle and I met at ONU we were lab partners in A & P and most of all friends! Although we were way too much alike! Stubborn, hard headed, hot headed, of course ONLY if provoked, lol, we both thought we were always right, and most of all out spoken. If she asked my opinion,(or not) I told her exactly what I thought, sometimes not by best quality, lol, but Kelle did the same, and neither of us thought we were ever wrong, so Kelle's unforgetable quotes were, "REALLY, REALLY?" and with my response being ,"YA REALLY,"she would end it by saying, "YA WHATEVER!"
I will SO miss her! as will many many others!! We could laugh uncontrolably about absolutely nothing! We studied together, but I think spent more time disagreeing on what the correct answers were then studying, lol
I'll never have another lab partner like Kelle! Who but us disects a cat, puts a sun chip (trying to stay healthy) in its mouth, stands it up, and takes a picture! I can even remember his name b/c we both wanted different names, lol
KEL YOU WILL BE MISSED MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER HAVE IMAGINED!
I SEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER AWESOME PARENTS AND ENTIRE FAMILY, AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR THE STRENGTH AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE YOU SHOWED AND GAVE TO KELLE!!
MAY YOU FIND ETERNAL HAPPINESS AND REST IN PEACE WITH THE LORD GIRLFRIEND!!

I will never forget the first time I met Kelle. Her smile was one of a kind, and her personality is one you don't see often. She was bubbly and silly, but at the same time she was the good friend that everyone would look to for serious advice. She knew how to make people laugh in any situation. Kelle was the kind of person that you felt you knew for years, even when you first met her. I will forever cherish the times that I had with her in the nursing program. I can say that I was blessed to have her touch my life, and I will never forget her. Her life will go on through the many lives she has touched. I miss you Kelle... I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to know you. Keep smiling that beautiful smile down on us! I know that remembering that beautiful smile of yours helps me.

I am deeply saddened by the tragic and sudden loss of my dear friend, Kelle. Kelle was a free spirit who followed her dreams and always did what made her happy. She was smart, motivated, and talented. Kelle's beautiful face lit up with every smile and laugh.
Kelle was the first friend I made in high school. Even though we lost touch for a while, whenever we got together again, it was like we picked up where we left off. I remember scuba diving in her pool, every pom pon routine we danced to, concerts, camping at Lake Sara, and just hanging out laughing.
Kelle's life was taken too soon. She had much more to do and more happiness to bring to people. There's comfort in knowing that she's an angel is heaven now looking down on us.
I pray for Penny, Ray, and Chris. They've always been a strong family. I know they will get through this. Kelle, I love you and will miss you!
