Kirk Allen Parker
October 1, 1963 - July 9, 2025
Kirk Allen Parker, age 61, went to be with the Lord on 7/9/25.
Kirk was born to Kathleen and Eldon Parker and grew up in Chesterton, Indiana. He attended Chesterton High School where he was active in sports and made many friends who remained in his life up to his passing. The strength of these friendships led to a yearly golf outing every July in Indiana. After graduating, Kirk attended Indiana University Bloomington where he received his BS in Business in 1986. While attending IU, Kirk was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity where he met even more lifelong friends and "golf buddies." Kirk loved returning to Chesterton to see family, great friends and the Dunes.
Kirk moved to Cave Creek, AZ where he became a financial planner at Verus Capital Partners/ Parker Capital Strategies for over 20 years. Kirk enjoyed assisting his clients while connecting with them on a personal level and considered many of them to be friends.
Kirk enjoyed hunting, was an avid fisherman, golfing, and socializing with family, and new and old friends alike.
More than anything, Kirk enjoyed spending time with his two sons Matthew and Nicholas. They were truly the most important aspect of his life. He was a loving and devoted father and cherished their time together. He was so proud of his sons and would light up every time he mentioned their names.
Kirk will be missed for his loving nature, kindness, sense of humor and infectious smile. Kirk's passing leaves behind an emptiness that can never be filled. The pain of losing him is immeasurable, but the love and joy he brought into our lives will always be remembered. Kirk's dimples were priceless and so was Kirk.
Kirk is survived by his two sons Matthew and Nicholas Parker, along with his brother Bill McCorkel of Chesterton, niece Marzury Riggs of Wanatah, IN and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and sister Kelly Parker.
Kirk attended St. Patrick's Catholic church in Scottsdale, AZ, and was a devout Christian. A mass of burial will be said on August 14,2025 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church at 10815 N 84th Street Scottsdale, Az.
