When I first met Kurt I knew he was special. He was very bright, knowledgeable, and very personable. I worked with Kurt a couple of years as his supervisor and he made my job easy. I was very saddened to learn of his passing and I will remember our good times as co-workers, but especially as a friend. My condolences to his wife, son, and family. My heart goes out to the Looft family. As a life long friend of the family I cant even imagine the grief they are experiencing. The times I saw Kurt, he always had a kind word and a generous smile to offer.
What can be said when a young life is taken so soon. I know that the families strong faith will help them through but it still doesnt make it any easier. God bless the family .

I am sadden to learn of Kurt's passing. He was a good fraternity brother and always fun to be around. Although it's been years since I had spoken to him I will miss our conversations. He could definately hold his end of the conversations up with thoughts, concerns and opinions. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
