We knew Larry through the Minnesota WorkForce Center in Blaine, MN
Larry was the first customer to greet us many days. The staff on second floor really misses his Smile and stories, we heard a lot about his wonderful family and his Mother. She was a special person. Whenever he found a good deal we were all made aware of it, and many times he would go to the bakery and pick up boxes of frozen cookie dough and share with all of us. We miss you Larry.

When I think of Uncle Larry I think of his putting butter, pepper and salt on my leg....not sure why (I was 4 or 5) while we were in Nebraska and him giving me the business about everything. He sure loved to joke around! He was loved and will truly be missed.

Larry was a generous and thoughtful friend who was a blessing to everyone who crossed his path. If you needed something, he would either do it himself or find someone else with the skills to help you. Whether it was gardening, shoveling snow, or finding the best deals at the "bread store" Larry was always doing for others. He will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with the entire family. Although I knew Larry only through his sister Dian sharing stories, his caring & giving personality came out loud & clear. Blessings & peace to all who have lost this dear relative & friend.

Rest in peace, Larry-you were a wonderful friend in Sitzmark! Lots of good times playing volleyball and boating in the summer and skiing in the winter, I also give you full credit for encouraging me to "run for it" which led to my lifetime love of tennis! Marde Olson

Oh No! Another wonderful, gentle and caring human being has been taken from us! I first met Larry nearly 20 years ago when he lived in New Brighton, and his infectious laugh and obvious love for people was an inspiration. He became my insurance client and good friend. I just spoke to him a few days ago. He had referred a potential client to me, as he had done many times before. This was a typical example of Larry's essence...always caring, always engaging, always genuine, always looking out for everyone else. It is difficult to accept that good people are sometimes taken from us before their time. I will miss this man greatly...I say this now in the hope that he is listening. Goodbye, good friend!
