Lorraine Wesley Obituary
CROWN POINT, IN - Mrs. Lorraine J. Wesley (née Stemploski), of Crown Point, died peacefully on October 15, 2024, at the age of 96.
Lorraine is survived by her sons, Jay Wesley (Barb Remus), and Jeff (Pam) Wesley; daughter-in-law, Pat Wesley; grandchildren, Amy (Joe) Young, Heather Wesley (Josh Szymaszek), Michael Wesley, Sarah Wesley (Hays Francis), Erin (David) Czajka, Thomas (Jill) Wesley, Christopher Wesley, and Matthew Wesley; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Charles Stemploski, of Staunton, Illinois; her husband, Jim Wesley; her son, Alan Wesley; and daughter-in-law, Sue Wesley.
Lorraine worked for many years as an office manager for ANCo. She was a dedicated member of St. Stephen The Martyr Church in Merrillville, Indiana, where she was President of the Women's Club for many years. Lorraine was an avid and skilled bridge player.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 W Taft St., Merrillville) with Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for Friday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Stephen The Martyr Church in Merrillville. Father Gerald "Jerry" Schweitzer officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery. For information, call 219-736-5840, mycalumetpark.com.
