Marian Louise Kulesa Obituary

Marian Louise Kulesa, 89, passed away on April 15, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on August 2, 1933, in Hammond, Indiana, to her late parents, Fred and Alsina Kremer. Marian lived a life of grace and kindness, dedicating herself to volunteering in many educational settings, including the Munster School System and the Albuquerque School System. She was passionate about helping and guiding young students, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.

Marian's love for square dancing and playing the saxophone was a testament to her vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her passions. She was a true lover of music and dance, and her infectious energy and enthusiasm will be missed by all who knew her.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Karen White (nee) Kulesa and son, Gery Kulesa, Evertt White, Patricia Kulesa (nee) Gross, as well as five grandchildren. She was also survived by her long-time loving partner, Larry McDougal. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C. Kulesa, who passed in June 1997. Marian and Stanley were married in May 1951 at the Immaculate Conception Church in East Chicago, IN.

Marian was a proud alumna of Hammond High School, and she worshiped at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her community serve as a testament to her kind and generous spirit.

Marian will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the legacy of kindness and generosity she leaves behind. May her soul rest in peace.
