Martha Shy Obituary

Martha Helen Shy Knox, IN Martha Helen Shy, age 90, of Knox, IN, passed away August 17, 2006 at the Portage Hospital. She is survived by sons: Larry (Shirley) Shy of Hobart, IN, and Don (Reta) Shy of Hessville, IN; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Lee Darrow of Calumet City, IL, Steve (Alvina) Darrow of Highland, IN. She is preceded in death by parents Andrew Darrow and Valentine Geizler. She was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, the Alter Rosary Society, Starke Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and the Knox Welcome Wagon. Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Monday August 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Father John Scott officiating. Burial will take place August 21, 2006 in the Crown Hill Cemetery located in Knox, IN. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzimers Association or the Cancer fund.
