Martin Murphy Obituary

Dr. Martin J. Murphy passed away on April 30, 2025 in Santa Fe, NM. He was born in Mendoza, Argentina on October 4, 1945. He was 79 years old. He graduated with a degree in Medicine from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, in 1970 and immigrated to the United States the same year. Dr. Murphy lived in Valparaiso, Indiana and practiced Neurology in Laporte, Indiana until his retirement in 2014. He was a dedicated physician, respected by colleagues and patients. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and empathy.
Martin is survived by his wife, Silvia Lorente-Murphy, his children Martin Tomas (Yukie), Maria Emilia (Ryan), and his grandson Theodore.
