Remembering how we grew up as siblings, more than cousins. You in Ky. in the summers and later me up in IN with all of you, in the summers and other times. And when I got married &we finished our Army tour, we became neighbors for the next forty (40) years. So, we have never been far apart and we are not now for you will always be in my thoughts, heart and your family in my prayers.

He was a very inspirational leader to me...He was a very big part of my success in becoming an all-american and national champ in track....he made this very rare and special drink for me that had nothing but healthy ingredients(whey/honey/egg/and etc....it was not the delicious but it part a pap in my step that i carried over to track....he was a blessing in my life and i'm going to miss him dearly...his legacy as a husband/father/leader and friend...i'll miss you marv....L.Hines

The Snorton Family, I was both shocked and sadden to hear that mr Snorton had passed. Mr snorton has been my neighbor for over thiry years. I will always remeber him as a very kind and gentel man with the brighest smile one could imagine. My thoughtsand prayers go out to you Lucille, Mark and Marva. If there is anything you need just let me know.

Marvin was more than a friend to me. He was like an older brother that I never had. I loved him very much, and will miss him dearly! Having worked with him for over 30 years, it's hard to believe that he's gone. May God bless you and your family.

I was home in July, and as my twin sister and I was walking around Maywood Park (MLK Park) we pass your home and I ask her if the Snorton still live there; we talk about how kind you were, you will be truly miss.

Marvin was truly a good person and I will miss him greatly. I've known Marvin for as long as I can remember, but in the last few years he became my buddy. He was always uplifting and had so many stories regarding his life experiences to tell. I will miss him greatly. He had a way of touching us all. To the family, may God bless and keep you all.

I recently was reintroduced to Marvin through my aunt Myra by working with her at Efron. He remembered caring for my sister and me when we were little girls. His brother Earl was married to my aunt Retta years ago. He always had something funny & positive to say whenever we saw him. I feel blessed to have met him again, and will truly miss him. May God's peace continue to keep you all during this time of bereavement.

I am saddened and shock to receive news of my friend Marvin's passing. He has been a "hero" of mine since the day I entered Hammond Tech. Having met and and worked with him on the Hammond Tech Appreciation society for the past 11 years, I came to know and love him. I will miss him. His smile and laughter always lifted my spirits. What a kind and gentle soul. I am sorry for the loss to his family and the world at large.

I knew Marvin thru my cousin, Tom Eads. Marv was such a joy to be around. He always had a smile and talked with such pride about his family. He was so proud of the Mr. Indiana contest.

marvin will be missed by all his postal brothers and sisters...i've known marvin all my life..when i started at the post office he took me under his wing...i learned a lot about the job from him....my son larry also misses him...marvin helped him to be all he could be during his track and football seasons at hammond high...we love you and will miss you

I worked with Marvin at Bank Calumet for many years. You could not find a nicer person then Marvin. He would always talk about his family and how proud he was of them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
