Megan Ashley Newlin South Haven Megan Ashley Newlin, age 7, of South Haven, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2005. She was born on August 5, 1998 in Merrillville, Indiana. She is the daughter of Brad and Roberta (Jennings) Newlin. Megan attended the Victory Christian Academy and was an excellent student who was on the honor roll for every semester. Megan loved to read, enjoyed horses, knew sign language, had many friends and touched many people. Megan is survived by her loving family, her parents Brad and Roberta Newlin, South Haven, her loving sister Cassandra Newlin, South Haven, grandparents Rita Vohs, Schererville, Robert Jennings, Crown Point, Merle and Jan Graham, DeMotte, Malcolm and Bonnie Newlin, Valparaiso, aunt and godmother Kathleen Yost, Schererville, Aunt Theresa and Billy Keys, Noblesville, Uncle Keith and Cheryl Jennings, St. Charles, IL, cousins Jamie, Jessica and Katie Broker, Noblesville, cousins Ryan and Andrew Jennings, St. Charles, IL, aunt Debbie and Doug Lowery, Crown Point, Aunt Terry and Tommy Paree, Hebron, uncle John Fusner, DeMotte, cousins, Jamie and Sarah Lowery, Crown Point, and other loving family, dear friends and wonderful neighbors. Megan was preceded in death by her grandmother Linda Jennings, great grandparents Michael and Mary Tolin, great grandmother Helen Allen, aunt Blanche Laska, and cousin Alexandria Broker. A visitation for Megan will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at South Haven Christian Church, 780 Juniper Road, South Haven. Funeral Services for Megan will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at South Haven Christian Church with Pastor Don Miller, officiating. Interment will be at McCool Cemetery in Portage.
