Wow! A year already. Seems time gets faster these days. But the memories are still there. I can still laugh at him and some of his ways. Once we were working on a valve and Micky said this. I've never used an impact gun like that, show me how. I grabbed the gun and he got up and said " That's amazing, you do that so well!" I'd better let you do it! I knew right there and then, I had been had! He laughed for 5 minutes or more, while I put that valve up!

So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Mickey at GATX. I didn't know him as well as the other guys at the shop but he definitely made a lasting impression on me. He was one heck of a nice guy.

Lahoma, so sorry to hear of Micky's passing. I have a lot of good memories working with him. He made coming to work bearable. We just never knew what would come out of his mouth. This gem was Micky at his best. I remember one morning he walked in with a Starbuck coffee and no sooner he was in the door he dropped it on the floor. First thing out of his mouth was " that sure is an expense floor cleaner". That was Mick, just a fun guy to be around. Road trips were always a blast. He will be missed, and I'm glad to have worked with him and call him a very good friend.

Worked with Mickey at GATX years ago in Oklahoma and knew him to be a good man and lucky enough to have meet Mickey and call him my friend. Was thinking today about Mickeys sense of humor and it made me smile. Mickey was special... Lahoma I'm so very sorry and may God bless you and your family.
