Stacey,
I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He was a mentor to me in years past. We spent what seemed like a rediculous amount of time talking about life, business or whatever. During the years I worked for him at his pizza place, and all during the time we ran our own franchise, he always had time to give you his best answer, no matter what the question.
I really admired him. I will never forget him and his passion for life and family.

Stacey ... I knew Mike since 1986 and eventhough my first encounter with him was at his Schererville store and my Pizza Place was in St. John, Mike and his father opened their store up to me and my friend so I can see how a properly operated pizza place was operated. It helped me alot and since then we became friends and I believe that I was hanging out with Mike around the time you guys met. I remember talking to him about you because I went to IUN too and I remembered you. I'm happy and comforted to know that you guys grew together and raised children of your own. I'm writing this to let you and your children know that Mike was an outstanding guy and that we must always honor him by being the better person we can be. He showed me that. I will always celebrate him in my heart and share it with my wife and two sons. God Bless you and your's and Mike's Children. Sincelery, Nick Mantis

Stacey-
I am very sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I played lacrosse with Mike years ago and it was a pleasure to know him. I still remember fondly the time you and he had all the players over for a BBQ. Such a good time. He had a true genuine spirit that is not often found in people. All my best to you and your family.

Mike was the most enjoyable person I've ever worked for. His kind words and advice helped me during one of the most difficult times of my life. I'll never forget his charm and wit, and the many times he had me laughing uncontrollably. He will truly be missed by many.
