ST. JOHN, IN - Nancy Jean Seida (Wydajewski) age 80 passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023 in the care of her angels at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence, Munster, IN. Nancy bravely fought pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Gerald J. Seida just marked their 60th wedding anniversary.
Loving Mother of her three sons; Larry (Lori), Jim (Karen), Tom (Kristin). Cherished Grandma of her ten grandkids: A.J., Julian, Tim, Matt, John, Annie, Mary, Caroline, Jack, and Kate. Also, three great-grandkids, Mary Rose, Lucy, Theresa. Cherished sister, Cynthia Powers, late sister Connie Mazur (2023), sister-in-law, Pat Duszka (Seida).
Nancy Jean was a homemaker and a giving and passionate person to her relatives and friends. Throughout her journey she shared generously. She enjoyed family birthdays, holidays, and travels. (NO FLOWERS PLEASE) Donations to "Hospice of the Calumet Area" They were Nancy's Angels when she needed them! Your generosity is welcomed!
The service in remembrance of Nancy's journey through life will start with a visitation at 9:30 AM on November 3, 2023 where friends can visit with family until time of Mass of Remembrance at 10:30 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 15050 Wolf Road, Orland Park, IL. 60467. My condolences go out to the Seida family. Larry came to my mothers wake (visitation) about 15 years ago and I don't remember telling him how good that made me feel.
I also had an auto body shop in Shererville down the street from the Seidas business. Very nice family.
