Neil E. Wesley

NEIL E. WESLEY FORMERLY OF VALPARAISO, IN Neil E. Wesley, age 74, of Palmetto, FL and formerly of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL. He was born on September 15, 1938 in Gary IN to Walter and Marguerite (Hass) Wesley. Neil graduated from Chesterton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked for Midwest Steel for 35 years in the cold reduction department, retiring in 1997. Neil was a member of Heritage Lutheran Church, Valparaiso and was a past volunteer fireman in Porter Indiana. On December 7, 1974 in Valparaiso, Neil married Joan M. Corneil (Wallace) who survives; along with his children: Janet (Mike) Pellerito of Spring Hill, FL, Ann Wesley of Bloomington, IN, Heidi (Leo) Cleveland of Spokane, WA, and Curtis, Corey, and Tiffany Corneil all of Valparaiso; five grandchildren: Keith Allen, Corey Corneil II, Chelsea Corneil, Grace Cleveland, and Jared Pellerito; two great grandchildren: Aiyana Corneil and Vada Yates; and one brother, Raymond Wesley of Valparaiso IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Donald of Colorado. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Heritage Lutheran Church, 308 N. Washington St., Valparaiso with Rev. Joseph Ostafinski officiating. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Heritage Lutheran Church. moellerfuneralhome.com
