Patrick McCambridge Obituary
Patrick J. McCambridge age 79, of Highland, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. Patrick was born July 12, 1937 to Bernie and Gertrude McCambridge in Darby, PA. He grew up in Hammond, Indiana and attended Hammond Tech High School. Following high school, Patrick served eight years in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was retired from Conrail Railroad, enjoyed spending time with family, vacationing in Vegas with "Club" where he had a killer Midas touch, and playing golf. He also served on the Railroad Safety Committee. Patrick is survived by his son Kevin (Terri) and grandsons Sean (Joseph Duggins) and Kyle (Ashley). Preceded in death by his parents Bernie and Gertrude McCambridge, loving wife Sheila McCambridge and his sister Betty Lou Evans. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Patrick's honor may be given to Hospice of the Calumet Area. solanpruzinfuneral home.com

I was so sad to hear that your Dad had passed away. Your family has always been so special to me and my family. I have so many many good memories of your Dad and am sad that he is gone. Kevin,I never met you or your wife.I knew of you and many years ago I visited your mom and dad when you were just a Tad. Your mom and dad and I had a bunch of good times and memories together, even before you were born.I remember your grandparents and all the times we had together. God bless you and your family.
