Always looked forward to seeing Paul and everyone else in the store as I would go in almost every saturday. He always would be friendly and would never be in a rush with you. He will be greatly missed and my condolences go out to the Hodson family.

Paul was a good man ...
I found him to be a very reasonable and trustworthy person in a business that relies on trust ... I always looked forward to the visits to his store ... I always felt comfortable asking him questions and always found his answers to be very genuine ... he was easy to work with and I never felt rushed in his store ...
and once again I am struck by the random nature of life down here on planet earth ... even though I learned of his passing upon visiting his store this morning, seeing his photo here still made my heart skip a beat.
All I can say is wow!

To Paul´s family and Friends. I´m so sorry for your loss. I´ve been to Hodson Coins over the past couple years and he ALWAYS treated me with kindness and respect. He would help me out if I asked. He was always fair with his buying and selling prices. I never went anywhere else after finding him! I came in the store the Monday after he passed and was shocked to hear of his passing! So sudden and without warning.. tragic. Besides talking about Gold and coins we also talked about animals which I loved! He gave me great pointers for strays and how to help them. I will forever remember him. I never met his wife but to her.. I´m sorry for ur loss. His Sister, whom I met that Monday, you´re Awesome!! She didn´t know me but i came in for a hug and started crying cus this is so so sad and unexpected. She opened her arms and hugged me like I was family! Thank you for being so kind during this terrible time in your life. To his mother, I´ve never met but I myself am a mother and can´t even imagine the pain and grief you are feeling. I know he loved you. I know he loved his father too. The last time I saw him an officer came in for fund raising and Paul didn´t hesitate to say YES! He then said how their business was,I believe, number 83 in Munster and how his dad started the business when he was in a stroller! Family legacy was obviously important. His life will live on thru his friends and family and ask the people he met and helped. Thank You to Paul for all you´ve done for myself and your community. You will be missed.

Dear Hodson Family, I was so upset to read about Paul's passing.
I just saw Him a few weeks ago at the coin shoppe. My Late Husband, Keith Ulan, did alot of coin deals with John and Paul. He is up in Heaven with His Dad doing what they did best coin transactions. May He rest in eternal peace and let pertual light shine upon. With Sincere Sympathy, Marcia Ulan,

Paul was someone whom once you met would always be a part of your life. I always felt comfortable around John which carried on through Paul. He will truly be missed butt never forgotten. May God bless you all.
