Paula Page Obituary

A Paula Ann Page (Ernest) passed away on July 11, 2023, after a long battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure. She was 76 years old. She was born March 3, 1947, and raised in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, IL. She graduated from St. Willobrord High School in 1965 and met her future husband, Tony, when they worked at Gateley's People's Store. They were married in 1971, and lived in Munster, IN, until he passed in 2007.?

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Page of Chicago, IL; and her parents, Stephen and Margaret Ernest (Strand) of Chicago, IL. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Robert) Rees of Estero, FL; son, Larry (Colleen) Page, granddaughter Janet Daily-Page of Newfield, NJ; sister, Mary Lou (Dale) Swardson of Munster, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of her church for many years. After the loss of her husband, she left Munster, IN, and enjoyed the opportunities to live in the mountains of Washington State, the woods of Tennessee, the paradise of Southwest Florida, and the peaceful beauty of South New Jersey. She loved country music and enjoyed going to concerts. She spent her evenings watching her favorite game shows and doing word puzzles.

Paula made her wishes known that there be no funeral service. She loved dogs and always had a furry friend close by. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to your local animal shelter or the Humane Society of the United States.
