Peter Tocci Obituary
Peter J. Tocci "Pete", age 49, Late of Dyer, IN, formerly of the East Side, passed away February 13, 2013. Beloved husband of Alicia for 22 years. Loving father of Andrew, Nicholas, and Elizabeth. Cherished son of Joseph and the late Maria Tocci. Dearest brother of Tony (April) Tocci and Rose (Matt) Clary. Pete is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation Sunday February 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th LN (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN), St. John. Visitation and funeral services Monday, February 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster. Deepest sympathy to this wonderful family that shared so much love with one another. While I never had the honor to meet Peter. I feel like we were priviledged to hear of his strength of character that was so easy to see from the wonderful things his cousin Maria shared with us about how he lived his life. Having met his wonderful father in Vancouver and having shared in Maria's saddness after losing her aunt we are deeply saddened and extend our thoughts and prayers with his family. Peter, you have passed on to a new passge in lifes journey. You have left behind a legacy of love, friendships,and kindness. Dear Uncle Joe:
we are greatly saddened by the passing of your son, Peter. Although we didn't personally know Peter, we felt as though we knew him by all the wonderful things that his cousin Maria would tell us. I know that there are no words that can be said or sentiments that can be expressed to lessen your pain. I hope that you take some comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of his lovely mother.
