Raymond Lukowski Obituary
Raymond E. Lukowski, age 84, of Hammond, IN, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (nee Pelczar). Survived by his sister, Trudy (late Louis) Mannon; sister in law, Marilyn (late Ralph) Morenz; brother in law, Terry (Karol) Pelczar; aunt, Gerturde Szot, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his sister, Helen (late Andrew) Kalina, and brother Stanley (late Theresa) Lukowski. Funeral services Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home 4404 Cameron Avenue, Hammond, (5 blocks W. of Calumet, 1 block N. of Gostlin), 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Casimir Church with Rev. Vladimir Janeczek officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Lukowski was a lifelong Hammond resident. He was a retired carpenter with Union Local 599, with 60 years of membership. Ray was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a Die Hard Notre Dame and Cubs fan. Ray was a Charter Member of the Hammond Mohawks, who will have services Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., and a member of the American Legion Calumet Memorial Post 330.
