Lori and Christopher, my deepest heartfelt sympathies to you both . I'm just heart broken . Robert was such a great brother in law to me, always offered me advice and always had a sense of humor. Our family gatherings will never ever be the same without him. Love to you both

Lori and Chris, Robert was an amazing person. His work ethic, sense of humor, and willingness to help others always impressed me. Sitting with him and hearing his stories from the good ole days never got old. Going fishing with Robert and Chris was always a blast. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten. I pray you have comfort knowing he is in a better place. We love you guys.

Very sorry for your loss to both the Cauchon and Valant Family. I worked with Robert at Nipsco for years, and he was a truly great person and friend. I have known Lori for a lifetime, and praying for her strength at this terrible time. May god bless your family, because heaven just received another angel.

Lori, I cannot express how much I have been thinking of you and Christopher over the past few days. I am not sure what Doc, Danny & I would have done without you and Roberts support and friendship. I am truly grateful for all the effort and love you have given us over the years. From supporting my mom, to delivering books to my school that I forgot, to just being there for us are all things our family will never be able to repay. Thank you so much for you and Roberts love. He will be missed by all and never forgotton.
