Rosemary O'Brien Obituary

Rosemary O'Brien Dyer, IN Rosemary O'Brien, age 75, of Dyer, IN, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 1, 2005. She is survived by her loving son, Rev. Kerry (Lynne) O'Brien of Kokomo, IN; two loving daughters: Linda (James) Tsoutsouris of Valparaiso, IN and Nancy (Donald) Cergizan of Dyer, IN; seven grandchildren: Jason, Julie, Faith, Steven, Daniel, David and Linci; two brothers: Leon (Janice) Dean of Elkhart, IN and Lyndon (Patty) Dean of Waynesville, NC; one sister, Marian (Rev. Floy) Ekin of Clearwater, FL; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Everett and Irene Dean. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dyer Presbyterian Church, 2501 Hart Street, Dyer, with Rev. Ron Hawkins, officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, September 2, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Avenue, Munster. Burial at Memory Lane Memorial Park Cemetery, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (U.S. 30), Schererville, IN. For further information, call 219-836-5000. Mrs. O'Brien was a member of the Dyer Presbyterian Church, where she had served on the Board of Deacons, the Mission Committee and also was a member of the choir. Rosemary was a resident of Northwest Indiana for over 60 years. She worked as Office Manager and Medical Secretary and recently retired from the Giragos Heart and Vascular Center after more than 20 years of service. Her family meant the world to her and her friends and church family were very dear to her. Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Calumet Area in her loving memory. Rosemary was a kind, caring friend and mother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
