I am so sad to hear the news of Slavko passing. I think of him often. Always remember the Farrell BB teams, going to Chicago to play in the SNF tournaments. Slavko was always there to cheer on his home team. Slavko was proud of Farrell and Farrell Serbs were all proud of him. Mr. & Mrs. Roger Charriere

Dear Violet, Michael, John, Adam and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of +Slavko's passing. He was a good friend to all of us in South Chicago through choir, church, and as a leader of our Jr. Sotaya. +Slav always had a great welcome and big smile when he saw you. Proud of his family and his heritage, he used his activity in our church to make it a better place. He was my tambura instructor, Jr. Sotaya leader, fellow choir member and friend. I can relate to his love of his hometown Farrell...he always knew his roots and the importance keeping them close to his heart. Vjecnaja Pamjat..

To Slavko's family,
I am sooo very sorry for your loss. Slavko was like a grandfather to me, I loved him very much. I just found out about his death and am wishing I had gotten to say good-bye. I will never forget how upset he got when he found out I had cancer, he was more upset than most of my own family. I was always happy to see him when I could as he always had a hug waiting for me. He was the kindest and most caring people I have EVER known. I will never forget him and can only imagine how upsetting this is for your family. Please know I am keeping you ALL in my prayers, and I know he is watching over all of you. God Bless!!!

Dear family of the late Slavko Lazich,
Slavko was a true Serb and a good Christian Orthodox. He loved his people and his Church. His contributions to the SNF are enermous.
He was a family man, a backbone of the St. Archangel Michael Church School Congregation. I personally enjoyed his company and was proud of having such a man in our Serbian national and religious circles. He raised his family in a true Serbian spirit. Be proud, dear family, of this man of great stature.
God bless his soul. We will miss him.
My sincere sympathy.
Prayerfully,
Fr. Ned Lunich,
Joliet, Illinois
