Terry Sikes Obituary
Terry "Dude" Sikes, age 47, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, IN. He was born August 4, 1966 in Gary, IN. Preceded in death by his beloved brother, Keith Sikes. Terry is survived by his loving mother, Minnie Sikes of Highland; father, Verlin Sikes of Olathe, KS; sisters: Carolyn Sikes of Hammond, IN and Deondra (Ryan) Nelson of Elkhart, IN; nieces: Kim (Darrell "Moose") Morgan of Gary, IN, Dawn Carden of Hammond, IN and Tina Berger of Hammond, IN; nephews: Joe (Shannon) Hill of Portage, IN and Ryan Nelson, Jr. of Elkhart, IN; great nephews: Justin, Jacob, Daryl, and Johnny; baby nieces: Haylee and Hollee; several other family members; and many friends and extended family. Terry worked at Steel City Tire in Hammond, IN. He was a member of the Black Oak Eagles Arie 2593 and the International Brotherhood of Teamster Local 142. Terry loved spending time with his loving family, friends, riding his Harley Davidson and the whole world revolved around his mother. Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Poole officiating. Interment at Mt. Mercy Cemetery in Gary, IN. "Dude" will be deeply missed by his loving mother, devoted family, and precious friends. God Grant Him Eternal Rest.

5 years seems like forever ago. We think about you, talk about you and miss you so much. We see you so much of you in your baby niece. Its just crazy! Thank You for all the memories we shared. We always had the best times. Continue to RIP my dear uncle until we meet again.
