THOMAS EARL DARLINGTON, JR. "EARL" PORTAGE, IN
Thomas Earl Darlington Jr."Earl" of Portage, IN, passed away on May 25, 2016. Earl was born in Columbia, Fayette County, West Virginia to Thomas Earl Darlington, Sr. and Sophia Virginia Wardensky. He was a machinist retired from Inland Steel. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and playing cards. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, by his first wife Lula Mae Angus "Lou", and by a stepson Clifford Rice. Survivors include his childreN: Jeff, Lawana, and Belinda. He is also survived by his second wife, Anna Martine (Stone) (Rice) Darlington, and two stepsons, Carl Rice and James R. Rice "Ron". Earl is also survived by numerous grandchildren. As per Earl's wishes, there was no service, and a private cremation ceremony took place on June 8, 2016. Funeral arrangements entrusted with Calumet Park Funeral Chapel-Hobart (370 N.
