Tiarra Wright Obituary
Tiarra Shanae' Wright, age 35, of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Alexis Johnson and Darlinda Wright; one brother, Aaron Johnson; father, Edsel Wright; 2 uncles, Chevis (Renita) Sneed and Montell Wright; 1 aunt, Shirley (Rudolph) Crusoe and a host of other aunt, uncles, relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by mother, Arlene Johnson; godmother, Thelma Wright; god sisters, Shelia and Rosalyn Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, 11am at Hinton & Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 4859 Alexander Avenue East Chicago. Rev. Dr. Shirley Gillespie, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery Gary. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, Hinton & Williams Funeral Home from 2 to 4pm.
Tiarra gave her life to Christ at an early age and dedicated her career to Social Work.
Hinton & Williams Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Wright family during their time of loss.
