Wilson Jones Obituary
Wilson "Terry" Jones, age 91, of Gary, passed away April 3, 2011. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in November 19, 1945. He later married Maggie Scott on December 3, 1945. He also served as a trustee at Zion Missionary Baptist church for 44 years. He leaves to cherish his memories, children: Celestine (Lee) Hodge of Gary, IN, Olla Mae Davis and Minnie Bea Simpson both of Louisiana. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Maggie Jones; parents: Henry and Narcissus Jones; two sisters: Christine and Revordia; ten brothers: Bailey, Boyle, Curly, Henry, Hollis, Robert, Rush, Walter, and Wiley. Funeral services will be held at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 3939 Drummond St., East Chicago, IN on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. J.C. Wade, Jr. officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith, IN. Divinity Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
