She was also very supportive of several charitable and civic groups. Alice's activities were somewhat curtailed when her husband Mike developed polio in 1950 and she spent tireless years unselfishly devoted to helping him. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Beth, and their son, Martin III ("Mike"), and daughter, Sarah. and by her younger brother Alfred ("Bud"), 90, and his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Ryn, and their son Jason. A family service was held at Joseph Levine & Sons Memorial Chapels in Philadelphia followed by burial next to her husband at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Philadelphia.
