ALMA GLICKMAN Obituary
passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017 at the age of 98. Born on April 15, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York, she found the love of her life in the boy next door, Marvin Seymour Glickman. They were happily married for almost 70 years, from 1938 until his death in 2007. An architecture major at NYU before marriage, she traveled widely with Marvin, and they lived in Pound Ridge, NY, Manhattan, and Rancho Mirage, California, where they were major donors to Eisenhower Hospital and other local causes. They were also longtime supporters of the Anti-Defamation League and the United Jewish Appeal. Alma is survived by her daughters Nancy Lipton, Linda Levine, and Joanne Singer; her sons-in-law Mort Lipton and Jerry Levine; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. On December 23, fulfilling her longstanding request, she was interred next to her husband at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, CA.

To the Glickman Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
