I was reminiscing about teachers who impacted me during my childhood and came across this obituary. I am so sorry to her of Mrs. Glansberg´s passing. I live far away, in the South now, but am entering my 26th year of teaching. She inspires me to love chess and I loved her pretzel stick rewards I. 5th grade:). I also remember how she played a mystery game and brought in objects from the past and asked us to guess what they were! Thank you, Mrs. Glandsberg for being the best of the best. I loved you

Pete, Jaymee and Kim - My dad just told me about Andee last night. I am so sorry for your loss. Your house was a second home to me as a kid and Andee was definitely larger than life with her Le Cars and Dr. Scholl's. I have nothing but good memories of all of you and wish you the best.

Dear Peter, Jamie and Kim,
I was shocked and devastated to learn we'll no longer enjoy Andee's infectious laugh or just enjoy her boundless energy. Andee had a profound impact on my life- first when I was 18 and we were "servants" together, then as teaching partners and later as bridge players.
She lived life to the fullest and certainly left countless memories for us to remember her by. Please know I would have attended her service had I heard in time.
We are all better people because of her.
With deepest sympathy

In a sea of superb teachers I often look back and count Mrs. Glansberg as one of the finest. I had the privilege of having her as my fifth grade teacher and it was my favorite year for reasons too numerous to list. One of my fondest memories is of her asking us to memorize lines from Robert Frost's, “The Road Not Taken”. It is a favorite of mine to this day, partly because it is a wonderful poem, but more so because it reminds me of her. Thank you for being my teacher Mrs. Glansberg. Love, Brianna

I met Any many years ago playing at the National Women's Senior RB Championships. While she was a tough competitor, her strategy was clearly to make her opponents laugh so darned hard they couldn't lift a racquet. I remember the time she and her daughter came to play and she was so excited. She had pizzazz! I always looked forward to seeing her. So sorry to hear of her death. JoAnn Johnson
