ANDREW GARBER Obituary
March 18, 1953-April 17, 2017. A man who brought many into the world has now stepped out of it. The son of Ella Garber, M.D. and Michael Garber, M.D., husband of Alison Graziano and father of Jonathan and Julianna. A service will be held Friday, April 21 at 4:30 at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 East Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450. 201-445-0344.

I just learned of this news! I am so sorry! I loved Dr. Garber. He delivered my two of my kids. The last one was nine years ago on Jan 22, 2019. I had a complication called DIC during the c-section. He helped save my life! He was my doctor and my friend. We moved from NJ a few years ago. He was a wonderful person.

I am so sorry to learn this, and only just today. Dr Garber was a wonderful man and physician. His mother was my doctor before he was, and I loved her too. I am so sad. I hope his family is finding warmth and fortitude at every turn.

I met Dr Garber when I became high risk with my 4th child and was only being seen via ultrasounds only.Through that I grew extremely attached to to Garber and the amazing staff. When I got pregnant with my 5th child immeditely i called and asked can I be his patient!! And it continued up to baby number 6!!!! During that time I experienced PPD as Well as PlacentaPrevia he helped me understand exactly what it all meant and gave me not just medical advice but LIFE advice on how to take the steps to get better and stay better. Dr Garber was sooo amazing,loving,kind, and even if you were not feeling your best or having "pregnancy blues" once you arrived to his office (Clifton Ave. & Brighton Rd) You approach the sign in window and the ladies knew you by name so you were greeted with such great smiles and mini conversations to put you in high spirits! Dr Garber I just wish I was Able to tell him how much he really meant to me. When having baby number 6 He stayed by my side the entire time from getting the call at 5am until i was placed in my L&D room even came the day before discharge to make sure I was feeling ok and everything I needed before going home. He always talked of His Family told little stories about them and it was always with that one of kind smile he had. Dr Andrew Garber and Family thank you for sharing with the world Your Love And Honest Genunion Care For Your Patients For Sharing Your Husband,Father,And Son I Am Truly And Deeply saddend by his passing and I will always keep his memory alive in my life when I have those moments when I share memories of pregnancy and delivery!! I am so very sad to hear of the death of Dr. Garber. He had been my doctor for 30 years and delivered my sons. I always looked forward to our yearly visits as we always caught up on our lives and kids etc. I loved Dr. Garber and send love and peace to his family.

Omg!!!! I am devastated!!!! I called the NY office to make an appt only to get a message that the number was disconnected. After doing a Google search I discovered this sad news. Dr. Garber was my doctor for 27 years. Delivered two of my sons. Just like all the others who left messages, my appts were of course health related but was also an opportunity to catch up on life events since the last visit. Always always always so comforting and reassuring. A gem of a doctor. God bless his precious family. I'm still in disbelief......

I am deeply saddened to only just hear of the death of Dr Andrew Garber, my physician for over 25 years.
Dr Garber's smile and his soft humor making every situation seem bearable is what I will remember most.
We loved Andrew Garber but God loved him best.

I am extremely saddened by the news of Dr. Garber's passing... I am very sorry to have learned about it only now... I was his patient for many years and I am very grateful for him not only for his medical care, but also for his humanity, kindness and ability to calm and reassure, even in stressful circumstances. I am extremely grateful for his advice and encouragement during my pregnancy and helping me to make the most important decisions in life. I will always be grateful to him, may he rest in peace...

I just found out today that Andrew passed. I have been his Florida Realtor for 5 years and unfortunately never met in person. His father and mother were my Dads next door neighbor in Delray Beach. I am so sorry for your loss, but in the many times that we spoke on the phone over the years, I know how much his children and family meant to him. Sending prayers to all of you.

Just found today about this untimely event, and am deeply saddened. I was a patient of Andy 's for 25 years, and he wasn't just my doctor, he was also a friend. I was actually supposed to see him next week and was looking forward to his contagious smile, good words and great advice. My condolences to the family and the circle of friends that will never forget him.

My deepest sympathies to your family on the loss of your husband and father. I was one of your Dad's patients for over 20 years. He was an amazing man in many ways. We would spend time each visit catching up on our families. He always took an interest in how the babies he brought into the world were doing in PreK through college! Dr Andrew's passing from this world is undoubtedly highly regrettable not only for his family and friends, but also for all his patients and people who knew him. I have always respected dr. When no one believed in me, Dr. Garber did. He supported me from the time I left him working as a Perinatal Sonographer to opening The Genesis OB/Gyn Ultrasound Group with him as my backup interpreting physician to Dr. Camille Walker. This last time Jan 15, 2017, we re-accredited he was fully supportive. It deeply meant so much to me. I will forever be grateful. Just the sweetest man. I am so sad. May you rest in peace Doctor. My deepest sympathy to Allison and his children and his medical practice family.

My heartfelt sympathies to Alison, & to Jonathan & Julianna, on the untimely loss of Andrew. Although we had been divorced for some time, I considered him a friend. He was a great Dad to our kids, a kind & generous person, & a physician with the kind of dedication that is rarely seen today. This loss will be felt by many, myself included, but most of all, to our children. He was their everything, & without question, they were adored by him.

Dr. Garber was not only my and my moms doctor, he was also my mentor, my role model and a very good friend. Although he has gone too soon and too suddenly, i know he is watching and guiding me in finishing my journey through medical school.
