I had the pleasure of working with Arnie several times across the years. I will miss his good cheer, his gently-given advice and his kindness.

Rabbi Sher was one of my childhood rabbis at Temple Beth Zion in Buffalo. He was a kind and gentle man who was a support and friend to my family. He once told me how my grandparents, Miriam and Maurice Tabor, had welcomed and nurtured him as a young rabbi, and Rabbi Sher also nurtured our family during difficult times. He and I got back in touch for some time over social media, and he was the same kind, gentle and wise man I had known so many years ago. I extend my condolences, and those of the Tabor family, to his entire family. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.
