Barbara Bryan was a person of great authenticity and compassionate heart. It's no wonder she did so much good in the world, and was so loved and valued by her family and friends. Somehow, her reality, her being, doesn't fade with time. I feel she's cheering us on from the other side of the thin veil. Blessings to her family, who surely miss her the most.

I remember and think of Barbara so often -- she was a true friend (since our days at Wellesley College) and we shared many deep feelings and experiences. I remember her love of life and people, her fairness and integrity, and the grace with which she approached her illness and death (get your affairs in order, and continue to enjoy life as fully as possible). This last is especially meaningful to me now as I deal with my own cancer. Several friends from Wellesley and I gathered this past weekend for our almost-annual reunions, which Barbara always loved, and thought of her warmly. Sending caring thoughts to her family and all her friends on this anniversary of her passing. May her memory continue to be a blessing.

Such a bright, perceptive and strong woman, such a wonderful soulmate to Will. Saddened by her loss, but enriched by the pleasure of having known her. May her love and memory bring peace to her loved ones. Martha Kunkis

Such a great loss for her family and all who knew her. I was fortunate to have her as a classmate and friend from elementary school through high school. She was smart, fun, and a person of real integrity. She led by example. Sending all blessings to her family and friends. Dallas Barbara Sutton

What a difference Barbara made in the world both in big ways, though her work, and in small ones -- the wisdom of her advice, the light of her smile. We will cherish her memory. Love to all, Chris and Carol Yoder
