Barry was my father and will always be. He gave me a great childhood- taught me how to fish and how to go camping. He even got me into playing soccer and introduced me to music lessons. My father lived a great life growing up and did so many things he loved. He loved playing tennis and talking about things that are beyond me haha. He was the most intelligent person, he always was prepared for anything and had so much knowledge. In the past two years we became the closest we had been. For the past seven or so months I had been worried about his health but also just about him because he was alone in his house. So I stayed with him most of the time, visiting every other week and enjoying as much time as possible with him. This helped our relationship grow stronger and I am so grateful for this time. We had fun on a Halloween handing out candy to the neighbors and my father, getting a kick out of all the costumes. He had been working on a book and also doing so much for his friends, writing them nice references and praises. He was a very grateful man and appreciative of those around him. I miss him every day. There is no one who can take the place of my father and I know that one day when I pass away I hope to find him somewhere on the tennis court and see him smiling again and laughing.

To the Cunningham Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
