Rest in Peace Barry and Carole. You left an everlasting impression. I learned so much about our industry from you and of course your good friend Sidney who was your biggest fan. Gene

We (my wife and I) met Mr. Kaye while walking by the Plaza where he was sunning in his wheelchair, accompanied by his nurse. We struck up a conversation that lasted quite a while and ranged over a surprising range of topics. He was warm, engaging and listened as well as he spoke. It was a chance encounter with a memorable individual. May they rest in peace together.

I met Barry at a very difficult time in my life in the early 80's - he was larger than life for sure and had a heart even bigger. We only had 2 meetings but he changed my life forever.

I am so very sorry to hear of their passing. They were supportive of my miniature room settings when they had their museum and really a joy to know. A true Auntie Mame was Carole!

Carole and Barry were wonderful long-time patrons of our work who also became friends. Their generous support for miniaturists worldwide culminated in The Carole and Barry Kaye Museum of Miniatures in LA, a fabulous showcase for the very best antique and contemporary miniatures. Socialising with them as a duo was always fun and energising. Vale both.
