I can´t believe it´s been a year but the fact that Benjamin´s name just auto-populated in an e-mail I was sending yesterday was a reminder that he still lives on in our daily thoughts. Sending a big hug to his family and John today, I know it will be an especially tender day for you.

Benjamin was an amazing and talented individual. Benjamin and I worked together for years. When I was down on my luck Benjamin helped me get a job working with him and really saved my life! I owe a lot of what I have today to him. Thank you my friend may you rest with the angels now.

Having just heard of his tragic death, I am saddened beyond words, yet grateful for the chance of knowing and experiencing the life force Benjamin possessed.
He was a guiding voice of clarity, and wit, in our board meetings for the media association CMMA, which he embraced, and was an integral role model for its members.
Above all, he was a friend to everyone, well respected and truly admired by all.
The world is a less bright and special place with his passing.
Heartfelt condolences to John, Benjamin's family, and friends.

Was fortunate enough to work with Benjamin on the Albuquerque National Conference. Was struck by his intelligence, compassion and humor. Rest In Peace Benjamin. You will be missed.

Benjamin was one of the kindest, sweetest and creative people I have had the honor to call a friend. My heart is heavy, the world lost a gentle soul.

We worked with Benjamin for many years at Liz Claiborne, Fifth & Pacific and then Kate Spade. One of the big events we partnered on was QBR, the brand’s quarterly townhall. The highlight was the summer party that followed! This photo was taken at Liberty House during one of the epic summer parties. I was in shock when I heard the news and still can’t believe it. You’ll be incredibly missed, Benjamin

I do not know the words that could express how sad I am for this loss. He was a wonderful person and a real friend to my niece Leigh Anne. Prayers and love to all his friends, family and husband.

I never knew Benjamin but had been looking forward to a time when I would meet and get to know him. I was in school with his husband, John, in Dublin, Ireland and like John I had struggles with 'Coming Out'. I'd like to offer my condolences to Benjamin's family and friends and especially John. RIP.

I built his house in Hyde Park, and as a result, we became friends. I’m shocked and saddened. He was truly a gift to those who knew him.
