As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love of God and support of family and friends.

I was fortunate to be hired by Bernie as an attorney for NJ Bell in 1985. Bernie was a wonderful combination of intellect and humor, strength and kindness, business acumen and legal stature. Bernie was such a great example. He didn't talk much but when he did in his quiet and deliberate way, you listened and learned. Bernie, RIP. With deepest sympathy. Paul M. Griffin
