BERNICE TILLMAN

1931 - 2023

TILLMAN--Bernice Manes. died peacefully on April 6, 2023 after more than seven years fighting Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Brooklyn on November 21, 1931 to the late Morris and Lillian Manes and grew up in Richmond Hill. She later lived in Forest Hills and Jericho before moving to Boynton Beach. She is survived by her loving husband of more than 71 years, Kenneth Tillman; daughters Ellen Tillman and Frann Birnkrant; and grandchildren Allison Izadi (Jay) and Jeffrey Birnkrant (fiancee Marisa Fullone). She was a great cook in her Kosher kitchen, and enjoyed swimming, tennis, bridge and The New York Times Crossword and Acrostic Puzzles. She was very philanthropic and a believer in equality for women. Services will be held at Gutterman's in Boca Raton, FL on Tuesday, April 11 at noon, The family would like to thank the staff at Morse Life Memory Care in W. Palm Beach and her devoted caregivers Deloris and Enide.
